The Agitated Observer

Finding peace with the opposite sex, part 2

As expected, my cuddle session last night was very nice. If you read my last post you know I expected that as both she and I have experience with the whole platonic cuddling thing.

I think what I wanted to say today was that the session affirmed what I mentioned in my last post... that I enjoy female company, but I don't require it daily.

We spent two hours entwined together (fully clothed of course) and talked about life. She was very empathetic (she actually works as a therapist), funny, intelligent, and yes, pretty nice looking.

It wasn't weird, uncomfortable, or sexual in any form. It was two adults, talking and sharing a physical connection. Nothing else. No strings, no expectations (well other than the obvious boundaries for this type of connection), no playing the dating game, and no trying to impress for success. That is one reason this is so refreshing and how I feel like my existence with women should be. When she left, I was relaxed (a bit sleepy) and content.

Today, I have been lazy at the hotel, working on some other blogs, and also left her a high rating on the cuddle website and my comment. Chances are pretty high I will never see her again (we're 540 miles apart) and that is OK. If I do, it will be like meeting a friend I haven't seen in a while, we'll catch up and snuggle together like we did last night.

So as I said in my last post, "today is one of those days where I am at peace with my relationship with women."
